Soon, it will once again be time to attend "Night at the museum"! Will you dare to come? Spooky witches have invaded our exhibitions, and a curse has been cast over the museum!
Visit Egersund Fayancemuseum between 18.00 and 21.00.
Mysterious things are happening, and among bats and spiders, we have realized that we need help. The staff at the museum increasingly often experience unpleasant things - cackling laughter can be heard from dark corners, and some swear to have seen the top of a witch's hat! We hope many brave visitors - small and big - will dare to enter the museum and help us lift the curse!
This is guaranteed to be fun, and a little scary, so come join us!

Fredag i høstferien er det igjen tid for “Lek med leire” på Egersund Fayancemuseum. Denne gangen lager vi spøkelser av hvit leire! 👻 Vi brenner spøkelset ditt og sender ut melding når det er klart til henting.
Møt opp i tidsrommet 11:00-14:00.
Erfaringsmessig er det flest besøkende ved oppstart.

On October 10th we invite you to attend the art exhibition opening of Hanna Isabel Aguirre, at 17:00. This will be Aguirres debut exhibition and the artist will show a variety of acrylic paintings. The exhibition has been given the title "Animalistic" , which is a suitable description of the ongoing theme in the paintings.
Sales exhibition. Light refreshments at the opening. The exhibition is suitable for both children and adults, due to the paintings' varied expressions and motifs.
You will find the exhibition and the opening event in Dalane Folkemuseum's administrative building at Slettebø (Museumsveien 20). The exhibition will be available to the public from October 10th to November 8th.

As is tradition, Dalane Folkemuseum can be found in Grindabygget during this year's Bjerkreimsmarken.
There will be an exhibition about “Woodcraft” med tekst og gjenstander. I tillegg blir det som vanlig gratis aktiviteter for barn – kom og lag ditt eget wooden sign, or play our stacking game .

Visit us to play with clay! This time we are making bucket-shaped pots, like the ones they made during the Migration Period in the Iron Age. Guidance by skilled staff. Young children are offered an alternative activity, making simple bowls using a thumb-technique.
Visit Egersund Fayancemuseum between 11:00-14:00.
Feel free to join us when it suits you best, within the set timeframe for the event. From experience, there are most visitors at the start of the event.
We will fire your item and text you when your pot/bowl is ready to be picked up.

På lørdag åpner sommerens kunstutstilling på Egersund Fayancemuseum. Møt opp kl. 10:00 for å delta på åpningen ved museumsdirektør Leif Dybing.
Dette året er det billedkunstner Åsmund Haukelidsæter som viser tegninger og akvareller. Utstillingen har fått tittelen “Grillsesong”.
Haukelidsæter er utdannet ved Statens Høgskole for Kunsthåndverk og Design i Bergen. Han har hatt en rekke separatutstillinger og deltatt på kollektivutstillinger rundt om i Norge. I Egersund kjenner man Haukelidsæter fra kunstutstillingen han hadde hos Egersund Terracotta og Keramikk i 2000.
Utstillingen er åpen alle dager fra kl. 11:00 til 17:00 i perioden 22. juni – 10. august.
Det er gratis å besøke utstillingen.
